Crymych ended their season in style as they ran in nine tries against basement battlers Kidwelly in Division One West.
The visitors were trailing 27-7 at the interval and could only muster another seven points as the Preseli men remained in charge throughout to triumph 59-14.
Crymych will now head into this Friday’s Pembrokeshire Knockout Cup final on the back of a solid win, after proving way too strong for the opposition.
The Preseli men ran in nine tries in total, and perhaps could have had more had the match refreee not seemingly blown for full-time some 10 minutes early.
They moved the ball slickly throughout the 80 minutes, with tries from flanker Sion Colella (2), second row Matthew Freebury (2), back rowers Tom Powell (2) and Ryan Bean, winger Tomos Phillips and Chris Shousha, playing on permit from Fishguard. Harri Williams had his kicking boots on to land seven conversions, while Kidwelly tries came from centre Andy Francis and winger Shaun Pearce, both converted by James Owens.
