Crymych produced one of their best performances of the season against a Newcastle Emlyn outfit which had secured the trophy, and promotion in midweek

The Preseli Men were already 27-8 ahead at the break as Emlyn could muster just a try from Steffan Evans alongside a Llyr Davies’ penalty.

The try scorers for Crymych as they also collected a bonus point were Tom Powell, a penalty try, Tomi Jones (2) and Gavin Thomas, with Sam Phillips landing two conversions and Luke Rogers claiming 12 points from three conversions and two penalties.

So Emlyn received the section glassware but Crymych could feel delighted with 14 wins from 22 starts that earned them fourth place in the table.
